Drew Korzybski

Drew’s collegiate baseball journey began at Cleveland State Community College before transferring to East Tennessee State University, where he concluded his collegiate playing career. During his time as a player, Drew competed in the NECBL Summer League with the Plymouth Pilgrims and trained at Driveline Baseball.

After transitioning from player to coach in 2018, Drew made an immediate impact as Pitching Coach at Hardin Valley Academy in Knoxville, Tennessee. Under his guidance, the HVA pitching staff set multiple school records, including wins, ERA, strikeouts, WHIP, and walks allowed. His coaching excellence helped lead the team to two state tournament appearances, culminating in a State Championship runner-up finish in 2023.

Drew's expertise extends beyond high school baseball, as he joined Cleveland State Community College as Pitching Coach in fall 2024. During the 2024-2025 season, his pitching staff ranked third in the conference in strikeouts, ERA, and K/9, contributing significantly to the team's third-place conference finish.

Drew has successfully guided more than 52 athletes to commit to playing at the next level, including four MLB draft picks. He founded The Gas Station Baseball, where he trained high school, college, and professional athletes both in person and online. He has also served as a pitching coach at Pro Hitting in Knoxville, Tennessee, working alongside former Blue Jays major league hitting coach Gui Martinez. Drew's comprehensive approach combines his extensive playing and coaching experience with modern training methodologies to develop pitchers at all levels.
